Krosno

Krosno is a city in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in south-eastern Poland. It is the seat of Krosno County and of the urban gmina known as Gmina Miasto Krosno. The city lies along the Wisłoka river at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, roughly 60 kilometers south of Rzeszów, the voivodeship capital. The population is in the tens of thousands.
