Kristallgitterstörungen
Kristallgitterstörungen, also known as lattice defects or crystal defects, are irregularities in the otherwise perfect, repeating arrangement of atoms in a crystalline solid. These imperfections are not always detrimental; in fact, they are crucial for determining many of a material's physical and chemical properties, such as electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, and optical behavior.
