Krausoperatørenes is a Norwegian term that translates to "the Kraus operators" or "operators of Kraus." It is a concept used in the field of quantum information and quantum computation, specifically within the framework of quantum channels and quantum operations.

In quantum mechanics, a quantum operation describes a process that can occur to a quantum system. The summation is over all the Kraus operators associated with that channel. The set of Kraus operators for a given channel is not unique; different sets can describe the same quantum channel.
