Koorilaulu

Koorilaulu is the Finnish term for choral singing and the repertoire written for choirs. It designates both the practice of singing in a group and the musical works created for multiple vocal parts, often arranged for mixed voices (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) and performed with or without instrumental accompaniment. The term combines koori or kuoro, meaning choir, with laulu, meaning song, reflecting its emphasis on collective singing and blend of voices.
