Rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses are another option, offering sharp vision and durability, though they may require an adaptation period.

Proper care and hygiene are crucial when using contact lenses to prevent eye infections and other complications. This includes thorough handwashing before handling lenses, using appropriate cleaning and disinfecting solutions, and adhering to the recommended wearing schedule.
