Konformációval

Konformációval refers to the three-dimensional arrangement of atoms in a molecule. It is a concept of particular importance in chemistry and pharmacology, describing the different spatial orientations a molecule can adopt without breaking any chemical bonds. These different arrangements are called conformers.

The existence of conformers is due to the rotation around single bonds within a molecule. Different conformers can have distinct physical and chemical properties, including reactivity, stability, and biological activity. For instance, in organic chemistry, the study of conformational isomers helps explain the behavior of molecules like alkanes and cyclohexane.
