Kompresueshëm
Kompresueshëm is an Albanian adjective describing the property of being able to be compressed. This means something that can have its volume reduced by applying pressure. The concept of compressibility is fundamental in various scientific and engineering disciplines. For example, in physics, gases are highly compressible because their molecules are far apart and can be forced closer together. Liquids, on the other hand, are much less compressible, and solids are generally considered incompressible under normal conditions, though they do exhibit some degree of compressibility at very high pressures. In engineering, materials that are kompresueshëm are utilized in applications like shock absorbers, pneumatic systems, and soundproofing. Understanding the compressibility of a substance is crucial for designing systems that involve pressure, volume changes, or energy storage through mechanical deformation. The opposite of kompresueshëm would be incompressible, referring to substances that resist changes in volume when pressure is applied.
