Kolloïdale refers to a colloidal system, a mixture in which one substance is dispersed evenly throughout another substance in the form of tiny particles. These particles are larger than those in a solution but small enough to remain suspended without settling due to gravity. Colloidal systems are classified based on the physical states of the dispersed phase (solid, liquid, or gas) and the dispersion medium (solid, liquid, or gas).
