Kohärenztheoretische refers to theories or approaches that emphasize coherence as a fundamental principle. In epistemology, coherence theory of justification, for example, posits that a belief is justified if it fits coherently with a person's other beliefs. This means that beliefs are not justified in isolation but rather in relation to a larger system of beliefs. The more interconnected and consistent a belief is within this system, the more justified it is considered to be. A coherent system of beliefs is one where its components mutually support each other and lack internal contradictions.
This concept extends beyond epistemology. In philosophy of language, coherence can relate to the meaning and
