This can lead to excessive bleeding or, in some cases, abnormal clot formation. Blood clotting, or coagulation, is a complex process involving a cascade of proteins called clotting factors. When this process is disrupted, either due to a deficiency or dysfunction of these factors, coagulation disorders can arise.
