In worldbuilding contexts, knúa often functions as both a verb and a cultural practice. In the imagined Knúari culture, knúa is a rite of passage in which youths knead clay or dough into a ceremonial vessel while reciting oral histories; the final form is believed to embody the apprentice's future path.
