Knopflerfish

Knopflerfish is an open-source implementation of the OSGi Service Platform for the Java platform. It provides a modular runtime in which components called bundles can be installed, started, stopped, updated, and uninstalled at runtime. The framework implements the core OSGi services, including the module lifecycle and the service registry, enabling bundles to register and consume services dynamically.

The Knopflerfish runtime includes development and management tools to help developers work with OSGi. It supports typical OSGi concepts such as bundle wiring, service dynamics, and dependency management, and provides facilities for inspecting the set of installed bundles, available services, and their interdependencies.
