Klínec

Klínec is a village and municipality in the Prague-West District, Central Bohemian Region, in the Czech Republic. It is located approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Prague. The municipality covers an area of 8.59 square kilometers and as of 2023 had a population of 775.

The village is situated in a hilly landscape, with a stream running through it. Historically, Klínec was an agricultural settlement. Evidence of early settlement in the area can be found in archaeological findings, though specific details are scarce. The name "Klínec" itself is believed to be of Slavic origin.
