Kiveksien

Kiveksien is the genitive plural form of the Finnish noun kivekset, meaning testicles. In Finnish, genitive plural forms are used to indicate possession or relation, as in kiveksien terveys (the health of the testicles) or kiveksien koko (the size of the testicles). The form is commonly found in medical, anatomical, and educational texts, as well as in general language when specifying attributes related to the testicles.

Anatomy and function: The kivekset are a pair of male reproductive glands located in the scrotum. They produce sperm in the seminiferous tubules and secrete testosterone, which is involved in the development of male secondary sexual characteristics and fertility. Each testicle is roughly 4-5 cm long in adults, though sizes vary. They are connected to the body via the spermatic cord and are surrounded by protective coverings, including the tunica vaginalis and tunica albuginea.
