Kinderclub

The Kinderclub is a German educational concept that focuses on early childhood development and care. It originated in the 1970s as a response to the need for a more holistic approach to childcare, one that went beyond mere supervision and towards fostering intellectual, emotional, and social growth in young children.

In a Kinderclub setting, children from birth to three years of age are cared for in a group environment, typically with the help of trained pedagogues or educators. The emphasis is on play-based learning, where children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, engage with peers, and interact with materials and objects.
