Kierrätysautot, a Finnish term translating to "recycling cars" or "scrapping cars," refers to the process of dismantling and recycling end-of-life vehicles (ELVs). This practice is a crucial part of environmental management, aiming to recover valuable materials and minimize the hazardous waste generated by discarded automobiles. The process typically begins when a vehicle reaches the end of its usable life. Owners are often obligated to take their cars to authorized dismantling facilities.
