Kierrelevyistä
Kierrelevyistä, or screw plates, are metal components used to join or reinforce wood or other materials. They typically feature a flat metal surface with one or more holes for fasteners, such as screws or bolts. Often, the holes are countersunk, allowing the fasteners to sit flush with the surface of the plate for a smoother finish and to prevent snagging. Kierrelevyistä can also incorporate threaded inserts, commonly known as T-nuts or threaded bushings, which provide a strong and reusable connection point for screws.
