Khatyrka

Khatyrka is a former administrative center of Khatyrka District in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. Located on the Pacific coast, it is situated near the Khatyrka River and the Sea of Okhotsk. The population as of the 2010 Census was 591 people. Since 2018, Khatyrka has merged with the Sakhalin district to become a part of the Sakhalinsky District.

Khatyrka is primarily a rural settlement, and the economy of the area is largely based on fishing and trade. The town has a small school, a hospital, and shops. Khatyrka is also notable for its vast natural resources, including forests and the Khatyrka Gulf.
