Kerghübrias
Kerghübrias is a small, nomadic species native to the temperate grasslands of the planet Xylos. They are characterized by their bioluminescent fur, which glows in a variety of soft colors, and their six spindly limbs, allowing them to move with surprising agility. Kerghübrias are herbivores, primarily feeding on the abundant, nutrient-rich mosses that grow in their homeland. Their social structure is clan-based, with each clan typically consisting of a few dozen individuals led by an elder who possesses the most vibrant bioluminescence. Communication among Kerghübrias is believed to occur through a complex interplay of bioluminescent flashes and subtle pheromonal signals. They are known for their gentle disposition and their deep connection to the natural cycles of Xylos. While generally solitary in their foraging, they gather in large numbers during the annual Xylosian bloom, a period of intense floral activity, for mating rituals and communal celebrations. Their migratory patterns are closely tied to the availability of their preferred mosses, leading them across vast swathes of the Xylosian plains throughout the year. Little is known about their reproductive cycle beyond the fact that they have a gestation period of approximately two Xylosian months.
