KdKa

KDKA is a commercial AM radio station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It broadcasts on 1020 kHz and is owned by Audacy, Inc.

Founded by Westinghouse Electric Corporation, KDKA began operations on November 2, 1920. It is widely regarded as the first commercially licensed radio station in the United States and one of the first to provide regular programming.
