Kavura

Kavura is a city in the Electricity Province of Somaliland, a self-declared state in eastern Somalia. It is situated on the edge of the Gulf of Zula, approximately 14 kilometers northwest of the province's capital city of Zeila. Kavura has a population of around 3,000 residents and is known for its rural and small-town atmosphere.

The city has a long history dating back to Somali and Ethiopian empires, and its strategic location near the Gulf of Zula has made it an important center for trade.
