Katsastuksella

Katsastuksella, often referred to as "katsastus" in Finnish, is a mandatory vehicle inspection system in Finland. Its primary purpose is to ensure that vehicles operating on public roads meet safety and environmental standards. This process is crucial for road safety and reducing pollution.

The inspection covers various aspects of a vehicle, including its brakes, lights, steering, suspension, emissions, and overall structural integrity. During the katsastus, a certified inspector examines the vehicle to identify any defects or non-compliance with regulations.
