Katkaisuksi
Katkaisuksi is a Finnish translative form of the noun katkaisu, which can mean interruption, disconnection, cessation, or termination. The translative case suffix -ksi expresses a change of state or role, roughly “as a termination” or “to become a termination.” Consequently, katkaisuksi is used in contexts where something is described as becoming, or being designated as, a katkaisu, or where a process is described as ending in that way.
