Katalyyttistä

Katalyyttistä is the inflected form of the Finnish adjective katalyyttinen, meaning catalytic. In Finnish usage, katalyyttinen describes processes, reactions, or substances that involve a catalyst or are accelerated by one. The term derives from katalyytti (catalyst) and katalyysi (catalysis). The form katalyyttistä is the partitive singular used when the descriptor modifies nouns, for example in phrases such as katalyyttistä reaktiota or katalyyttinen mekanismi.
