Kamenyevs is a surname of Russian origin, meaning "of a stone" or "stony." It is most famously associated with Lev Kamenev, a prominent Bolshevik revolutionary and Soviet politician. Born Lev Borisovich Rozenfeld in Moscow, he adopted the pseudonym "Kamenev" early in his political career.
