Kallikrates
Kallikrates was an ancient Greek architect and sculptor who lived in the 5th century BCE. He is most famous for his collaboration with Iktinos on the design of the Parthenon in Athens. This iconic temple, dedicated to the goddess Athena, is considered a masterpiece of classical Greek architecture and has had a profound influence on Western architectural styles. Kallikrates is credited with overseeing the construction of the Parthenon from approximately 447 to 432 BCE.
