Költségstruktúrák, or cost structures, refer to the composition of expenses within a business or organization. Understanding a company's cost structure is crucial for financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. There are generally two main types of costs that form the basis of any cost structure: fixed costs and variable costs. Variable costs, on the other hand, fluctuate directly with the volume of goods produced or services rendered. Conversely, a business with a high proportion of variable costs has lower operating leverage.
