Júcar
Júcar, known as Xúquer in Valencian, is a river in eastern Spain. Its headwaters rise on the southern slopes of the Iberian System in the province of Cuenca. From there it flows southeast across the central plateau and into the Valencian Community, discharging into the Mediterranean Sea near Cullera in Valencia Province. The Júcar basin covers parts of Castilla-La Mancha and the Valencian Community and is a significant source of irrigation, drinking water, and hydroelectric power.
