Jätelähteellä

Jätelähteellä refers to a landfill or waste disposal site in Finnish. It is a designated area where solid waste is deposited and managed by local authorities or private companies. The primary purpose of a jätelähteellä is to isolate waste from the environment and prevent pollution of soil, groundwater, and air. Modern landfills are engineered facilities with various layers of lining materials, such as clay and plastic geomembranes, to contain leachate, which is the liquid that drains from decomposing waste.
