Jurilingvistika, also known as legal linguistics or forensic linguistics, is an interdisciplinary field that applies linguistic theories and methods to the study of law and legal processes. It explores the role of language in legal contexts, including the interpretation of legal texts, the analysis of courtroom discourse, and the examination of language in criminal investigations.

The field encompasses several areas of study. One significant area is the interpretation of statutes, contracts, and other legal documents.
