Jumlalarni

Jumlalarni is a grammatical term used in Uzbek linguistics to describe the definite direct object form of the noun jumla, meaning “sentence.” It is formed by combining the plural suffix -lar with the definite direct-object suffix -ni, yielding jumlalarni. In effect, jumlalarni marks “the sentences” as the specific, definite object of a verb. This construction reflects Uzbek’s suffixal system for number, definiteness, and case.

Morphology and usage are central to understanding jumlalarni. The base jumla receives the plural suffix -lar to form jumlalari, indicating more than one sentence, and the definite direct-object suffix -ni is appended, producing jumlalarni.
