Jayadeva
Jayadeva was a Sanskrit poet of the 12th century, best known as the author of the Gita Govinda, a lyrical poem that describes the love between Radha and Krishna. He was born in the village of Kenduli in the region of modern-day Odisha, India, although some sources suggest a different birthplace. Jayadeva was a court poet of Lakshmana Sena, the king of Bengal.
