Jalisco

Jalisco is a state in western Mexico. It is bordered by Nayarit to the west, Colima to the southwest, Michoacán to the south and east, and by Guanajuato and Zacatecas to the north. It has a Pacific coastline. The state’s capital and largest city is Guadalajara, a major cultural and economic center. Jalisco features a varied landscape that includes coastal areas, the Sierra Madre Occidental, and fertile valleys that support agriculture. The coastal resort of Puerto Vallarta is among its best-known destinations.
