Jakojäännösten

Jakojäännösten, often translated as "remainders" or "residues" in English, is a fundamental concept in number theory and arithmetic. It refers to the integer that is left over after dividing one integer by another, when the division does not result in a whole number. For example, when 7 is divided by 3, the quotient is 2 and the jakojäännös is 1, because 7 = 3 * 2 + 1. The jakojäännös is always less than the divisor and non-negative.
