JCW
JCW stands for John Cooper Works, the performance division of the Mini marque. The name honors John Cooper, a British race car designer and founder of the Cooper Car Company, whose collaboration with Mini in the 1960s produced the original high-performance Minis. The modern JCW program was revived in the early 2000s under BMW ownership as the official factory tuning and motorsport arm of Mini.
