JCB, officially J.C. Bamford Excavators Limited, is a British multinational manufacturer of construction equipment. Headquartered in Rocester, Staffordshire, the company designs, manufactures and markets machinery for construction, agricultural, and industrial applications. Its product range includes backhoe loaders, wheeled and tracked excavators, skid steer loaders, telehandlers, and high-visibility tractors, as well as diesel engines used in its own machines and by third parties.

Founded in 1945 by Joseph Cyril Bamford after World War II, JCB began with farm machinery and quickly expanded into hydraulic construction equipment. The company helped popularize hydraulic power for earthmoving and developed the integrated backhoe loader, a combination of a loading bucket and a backhoe on a single machine, which became a defining JCB product. Over subsequent decades, JCB expanded internationally through manufacturing facilities and a global sales and service network.

JCB operates manufacturing facilities and distribution networks in multiple countries, maintaining a global presence for sales, service, and parts supply. Its machine lines span construction, mining, agriculture, and material handling, including the Fastrac family of high-speed tractors and the Teletruk telescopic forklift, along with various excavators and loaders. The company also produces the EcoMAX diesel engine family used in many of its machines and available for non-JCB applications.

As a privately held company owned by the Bamford family, JCB employs thousands of people worldwide. It supports engineering and education initiatives, including the JCB Academy, and emphasizes engineering innovation, safety, and environmental performance through emissions-compliant engines and fuel-efficient designs.
