J16
J16 is a compact executive car produced by the Japanese automaker Honda from 1981 to 1991. It was introduced as a successor to the Honda Civic and was designed to compete with other compact executive cars of the time, such as the Toyota Corolla and the Nissan Sunny. The J16 was available in both sedan and hatchback body styles, and was powered by a range of engines, including a 1.6-liter inline-four and a 1.8-liter inline-four. The car was praised for its fuel efficiency, reliability, and practicality, and was a popular choice among consumers in Japan and other markets. However, it was not as successful in the United States, where it was marketed as the Honda Accord. The J16 was replaced by the Honda Accord in 1991, and was succeeded by the Honda Legend in 1992.
