Jäähdytyslaatikko

Jäähdytyslaatikko, often translated as cooler box or ice chest, is an insulated container designed to keep its contents cold for an extended period. It typically consists of a rigid outer shell, usually made of plastic, and an inner lining made of a material with good thermal insulation properties, such as polystyrene foam. The space between the outer shell and inner lining is filled with insulation material to minimize heat transfer from the environment to the interior of the box.

Jäähdytyslaatikot are commonly used to transport perishable food items, beverages, or medicines that require refrigeration. They are particularly popular for outdoor activities like camping, picnics, fishing, and tailgating, where access to a refrigerator is not available.
