Itselfsteaming

Itselfsteaming is a neologism used primarily in informal or speculative writings to denote a system that generates steam as an integral part of its own operation. The term does not refer to a specific, widely recognized technology; rather, it describes a design concept or metaphor in which steam production is inherent to the process rather than added as a separate stage.

In practical engineering discussion, itselfsteaming might be used to discuss self-contained steam loops, such as compact boilers that feed a steam-turbine cycle within a single module, or integrated heat recovery where vapor generation is coupled to the system’s heat output. The idea emphasizes autonomy in steam generation, as opposed to external sources supplying steam.

Outside technical contexts, it is sometimes used metaphorically to describe any process that generates a byproduct directly from its core function, creating a self-sustaining or self-perpetuating cycle of activity and energy release. The term is not standardized and has little presence in formal literature or dictionaries.
