ItimadudDaula
ItimadudDaula, born Mirza Ghiyas Beg, was a prominent Persian nobleman who rose to prominence in the Mughal Empire during the reign of Emperor Jahangir. He served as the wazir (chief minister) of the empire from 1605 to 1622. Born in Tehran, Iran, he migrated to India with his family and entered the service of Emperor Akbar.
His daughter, Nur Jahan, became the favorite wife of Emperor Jahangir, which significantly elevated his status
