Itaparica
Itaparica is a municipality in the state of Bahia in northeastern Brazil, situated on the western shore of the Bay of All Saints. The municipality covers an area of about 378 square kilometers and had a population of approximately 94,000 inhabitants according to the most recent census. Governance is carried out by a mayor and municipal council, with the current mayor serving a four‑year term.
