Isojärvi

Isojärvi is a municipality located in the Pirkanmaa region of Finland. It is situated in the western part of the country, approximately 100 kilometers north of the city of Tampere. The municipality covers an area of 305.77 square kilometers, of which 43.54 square kilometers are water. As of the end of 2023, Isojärvi had a population of around 1,300 inhabitants.

The landscape of Isojärvi is characterized by its numerous lakes and forests, which are typical of the Finnish Lakeland. The largest lake in the municipality is the lake also named Isojärvi.
