Ironzeolites
Ironzeolites are a class of synthetic porous materials that incorporate iron into their framework structure. Zeolites are crystalline aluminosilicates with a unique three-dimensional network of pores and channels. In ironzeolites, some of the aluminum or silicon atoms in the zeolite framework are replaced by iron atoms. This substitution can significantly alter the material's properties, including its catalytic activity, adsorption characteristics, and magnetic behavior.
The presence of iron within the zeolite framework can introduce new redox capabilities, making ironzeolites effective
Ironzeolites find applications in areas such as environmental remediation, for instance, in the removal of pollutants
