IraqiSaudi refers to the relationship and interactions between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. These two countries share a long border and significant historical, cultural, and religious ties, primarily due to their shared Arab heritage and the presence of the two holiest sites in Islam within Saudi Arabia, which attracts millions of pilgrims from Iraq annually.

Historically, the relationship has experienced periods of both cooperation and tension. Following the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia played a key role in the US-led coalition that liberated Kuwait, leading to a significant deterioration in diplomatic relations with Iraq. For many years, official diplomatic ties were severed or severely strained.

However, in recent years, there has been a concerted effort to rebuild and normalize relations. Saudi Arabia reopened its embassy in Baghdad in 2015 after a 25-year closure, signaling a shift towards greater engagement. This has been followed by high-level visits and increased economic cooperation, including trade agreements and infrastructure projects. The two nations collaborate on regional security issues and strive to foster stability in the Middle East.
