Intressivõlg refers to the accumulated interest that has not yet been paid on a debt. When a borrower takes out a loan, they agree to pay back the principal amount along with interest. Interest is essentially the cost of borrowing money. If a borrower is unable to make their scheduled payments, or if payments are insufficient to cover the interest accrued, the unpaid interest can be added to the outstanding principal balance.
