Intramuskulair
Intramuskulair is a Dutch medical term that refers to an injection given into the muscle, as opposed to an intravenous or subcutaneous injection. This type of injection is administered into the muscle tissue itself, typically in the deltoid, vastus lateralis, or gluteus maximus muscles in the upper arm, thigh, or buttocks respectively.

While generally safe, intramuscular injections can cause side effects, such as pain, inflammation, or infection, at
