Intolerável

Intolerável is a Portuguese adjective meaning unbearable or insufferable, and, in many contexts, intolerant in the sense of something that cannot be endured. The word is formed with the prefix in- attached to tolerável, which itself comes from Latin tolerabilis "able to be endured." The form is invariable for gender: intolerável in both masculine and feminine singular, and intoleráveis in the plural.

It is used to describe conditions, situations, or behaviors that cannot be borne or tolerated. Examples include barulho intolerável (unbearable noise), condições de trabalho intoleráveis (intolerable working conditions), and um comentário intolerável (an intolerable comment).
