Indüktör, also known as a coil or reactor, is a passive electrical component that stores energy in a magnetic field when electric current flows through it. It is one of the three fundamental passive linear circuit elements, alongside resistors and capacitors. An inductor typically consists of a coil of wire, often wound around a core made of ferromagnetic material or air. The primary function of an inductor is to oppose changes in electric current. This property is called inductance, measured in henries (H).
