InBev SA/NV, commonly referred to as InBev, was a multinational brewing company headquartered in Leuven, Belgium. It was formed in 2004 through the merger of Interbrew of Belgium and AmBev of Brazil. The combination created one of the world’s largest brewers by volume, with a global footprint across Europe, the Americas, and other regions. Its portfolio included a range of beer brands such as Budweiser, Stella Artois, Beck’s, Leffe and Hoegaarden, among others, and it pursued growth through acquisitions and efficiency programs to leverage scale in production, distribution, and marketing.
