Ikästandardoidut
Ikästandardoidut, or age-standardized measures, are statistical figures used to adjust for differences in age distribution between populations or over time. By applying age-specific rates to a common reference population, they enable fairer comparisons of outcomes such as mortality or disease incidence when the underlying age structure would otherwise bias the results.
